Mokobé is a pattern inspired by African wax textile. The inspiration came one day, when I was grocery shopping I saw a man on the street wearing a very cool wax in the blue and orange color. The company I worked for at that time wanted to create more African inspired wallpaper so I turn that encounter into a pattern.

The idea was to make a very geometric pattern on top of the typical wax pattern. I also shift the color layer a little bit to emulate a traditional textile screen print where sometimes the color moves a bit.
